Rummy Application Down APP NOTE 12
Card Game Terms in Plain English
Definitions for hand, draw, discard, meld, run, set, suit and turn.

The essential idea
A hand is the set of cards held by one player. A draw adds a card; a discard removes one. A meld is a valid grouped arrangement, commonly a sequence or set.
A practical method
A suit is one of the standard card families. Rank is the value shared across suits. A turn is one player’s permitted action sequence.
Good judgement at the table
House rule means a locally agreed variation. It should be stated before play rather than introduced only when it benefits someone.
Clear structure makes better decisions visible. अभ्यास से समझ बढ़ती है — understanding grows through practice.
